01 — What you told us

Nearly invisible in search, and it's costing you bookings.

Across our conversations, your team named the same problem from a few angles. You don't surface when someone searches for an Asheville hotel, so guests book through third parties instead of direct. The one place you reliably get found is the careers section, yet it lives on a separate address and doesn't sell you as an employer the way it should. Search increasingly leads with an AI answer before any list of links, and today that answer rarely includes you. Your meetings and venue spaces aren't broken out, and the whole site is hard to keep current.

What you're asking for is straightforward: keep everything you have, give it a fresher look, turn search into a real source of direct bookings and sales leads built on actual keyword research, and bring careers onto your main domain so it both ranks and recruits. Everything below is built around exactly that.

02 — The goal

Be the answer when someone searches for an Asheville hotel, or an Asheville job.

When someone searches for a hotel in Asheville, you need to show up, especially now that Google answers with an AI summary before the links. We make every property easy for Google and its AI to quote, win the specific searches a local operator can own, and bring careers onto your main domain so your authority builds in one place.

No one can guarantee the broad "Asheville hotels" term, and we won't pretend otherwise. We win the searches that book, backed by the one thing the booking sites can't claim: you're local, since 1989, run by an Asheville native.

03 — Where the value is

Three funnels the current site leaves on the table.

Direct bookings

A guest who books direct instead of through an OTA skips that channel's commission. The site wins more of that direct demand and sends it straight to Hilton.

Faster hiring

Careers that rank and convert fill roles with less spend on agencies and paid job boards.

Group & events

Group blocks, meetings, and event inquiries have no home on hilton.com or an OTA. The site makes them your funnel.

The return depends on your booking mix and hiring needs, so we won't invent a number. But every booking kept direct, every role filled in-house, and every group inquiry captured is value the current site lets slip.

04 — Why guests choose you

The booking sites can't be local. You are.

Hilton.com is your direct channel, the booking that skips the 15–25% OTA cut. Your site's job is to send guests there instead of to Booking or Expedia, and to win the ground the giants can't.

The searches they ignore

"Hotel near the Biltmore," "pet-friendly," "extended-stay," "meeting space." The searches that book. Your pages become the answer, then point the guest to the right property.

One stop, five hotels

Guests don't know you run five hotels across town. Your site points them to the right one. Hilton lists each alone; an OTA lists them beside rivals.

What only you can sell

Group blocks, event proposals, corporate rates, hiring. None of it lives on a booking site. All of it is yours.

05 — What we'll build

A custom site, built on your own design system.

01

Custom design system

Your brand, type, components, and motion, reusable on every page.

02

Homepage + a page per property

A homepage and five indexable property pages, each with a direct Book-on-Hilton button.

03

Careers, integrated with Talentronic

An employer-brand careers site and a job board filterable by property, area, and role, wired into your apply flow. Roles marked up for Google for Jobs so they surface on "hotel jobs in Asheville."

04

Meetings & Groups

Celebrations, corporate meetings, group travel, corporate rates, and the Garden Grille, each with a request-a-proposal CTA.

05

About, team, News & Events

Your story, your team, and a dated News & Events section that keeps the site fresh.

06

Search-intent landing pages

Pages for the searches that book: near the Biltmore, downtown, the airport, the Parkway, pet-friendly, free breakfast, extended-stay, meeting space, group rates.

07

SEO foundation + keyword research

Structured data, sitemaps, Search Console, one-domain consolidation, and keyword research before we build.

08

Migration off WordPress

Redirect the old WordPress and careers URLs so you keep the rankings you've earned.

09

Email migration

Your @ashevillehotelgroup.com mailboxes moved to Google Workspace with your mail history intact and no downtime, so nothing breaks when you leave your current host.

06 — How it goes

Two weeks to go-live.

The design and most content already exist, so this is a build-and-migrate sprint, not a from-scratch project. The two weeks assume quick approvals from you and timely access to content and accounts.

Days 1–2Kickoff & access

Lock the design and gather access, including temporary admin with your current domain and email providers so we can coordinate the transfers cleanly.

Days 3–8Build

Every page, careers integrated with Talentronic, meetings and events, and property booking CTAs, on a secure foundation with deployment pipelines and caching. Structured data and SEO/AEO built for AI to read and cite, so you win more bookings and job applicants, with Cloudflare and Google analytics set up for monthly reporting.

Days 9–11Migrate & review

Email moved to Google Workspace, DNS, redirects, and analytics. You walk the staging site, we fix.

Days 12–14Go live

Cutover, redirects live, email confirmed, launch and a post-launch check.

07 — Security & proof

Secure by design, and measured every month.

Two things you can't leave to chance: keeping the site safe, and knowing it works.

Security

Off WordPress means off the most-attacked stack in hospitality, no plugins or database to breach. HTTPS, security headers, DDoS protection, backups, uptime alerts, and one-click rollback. Applicant data stays in Talentronic, so you never hold sensitive PII.

Analytics & an honest scoreboard

Search Console and analytics from day one, tracking Book-on-Hilton clicks, group inquiries, and applies. A monthly read on what's ranking, what's cited in AI, and how your jobs perform. No #1 promises, just the data and a steady climb.

08 — Investment

One straightforward price.

No tiers, no add-on menu. The complete site, built once, plus a partnership that keeps it running and ranking. 50% to start, the rest at launch. You own it outright.
